Fine Art Tattoo

Kasey is an award winning artist, and owner of Studio 31.  She studied art at SCAD in Savannah GA, and graduated from CU with a Studio Art Degree. Her work has been on display throughout the country - Washington DC, VA, and St. Louis MO.  She is wife to PJ Short, who has encouraged her to pursue her dreams, and mother to two amazing children.   She credits her battle with breast cancer in 2018 to giving her the courage and determination to become a tattoo artist. Her desire was to tattoo women who have also had double mastectomies- with the hopes of restoring their femininity-turning scars into something beautiful.  She specializes in black and gray realism, and enjoys doing larger pieces in her unique “painterly” style. 

 Nichole is a mother of two beautiful children and holds a degree in Business Administration. Before tattooing, she built a successful career as a birth and wedding photographer, developing the artistic eye and attention to detail that now defines her tattoo work.

With her passion for art and dedication to her craft, Nichole has quickly become one of the most sought-after tattoo artists in southern West Virginia. She specializes in black and gray tattoos but is a versatile artist capable of bringing many styles to life. Her work has been recognized at tattoo competitions, where she has earned awards, further highlighting the quality and creativity of her work.

With a vibrant personality and a heart the size of Texas, Nichole brings warmth, energy, and excitement to every client who sits in her chair.

Bethany is a nurse, PMU artist, and tattoo artist.   She is a wife and mother of two beautiful girls.  With a background in the medical field, there is no questioning her level of professionalism.  

She has developed a fine-line style that is unrivaled in technique.  With a steady hand- she brings her tattoos to life with clean crisp lines and delicate shading.   Bethany possesses a work ethic that very few have, and is dedicated to giving each client a piece they will love. 

She specializes but is not limited to fine line, floral, and watercolor tattoos,    

Caitlin is certified in cosmetology and started her career in PMU, but has quickly evolved into an amazing tattoo artist.  She is a wife and mother to a beautiful baby boy. 

 She is professional, talented, and an absolute 

joy to be around- you will not regret sitting in her chair! Whether you are looking to get a delicate fine line tattoo, or a larger more vibrant piece, she is dedicated to giving you a piece that you will love. 

Korah has had a creative eye, and has been an aspiring artist across varying mediums from a young age. Over time, her curiosity for tattooing developed into a true passion. A Liberty University graduate with a degree in Business Finance, she brings both creativity and intention into her work. She truly enjoys the process of tattooing—connecting with clients, learning their stories, and working in an artistic medium where each canvas is unique. Black and grey fine-line tattooing is her primary style, with designs that are thoughtful and executed with precision and passion. She is continually grateful for the stories she gets to be part of and is committed to growing and expanding her portfolio to become more versatile across various styles.

Jessica is a devoted wife and mother of two incredible children. Around here, we lovingly call her our “shop mom.” She takes care of our entire team with the same compassion and attentiveness she brings to everything she does. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit create a welcoming environment for both our artists and our clients.

With a background in radiology and years of experience in the medical field, Jessica brings an exceptional level of professionalism, precision, and excellence to Studio 31. She keeps us organized, ensures our studio meets the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility, and helps guide clients to the artist who’s the best fit for their vision.

We are beyond grateful to have her as the heart of our studio.
